I'm Donna, founder of Whimsy & Wist Candles.

Whimsy & Wist began with a love of scent, seasons and the small rituals that make a house feel like home. I've always been obsessed with candles and wax melts, but often worried about the ingredients so was inspired to make my own.

I started making candles from my kitchen table, inspired by cottage gardens, quiet mornings, fresh laundry, cosy evenings and the familiar scents that hold so many memories. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a small home fragrance studio in Northamptonshire, where every candle, wax melt and diffuser is made in small batches with care.

My collections are designed to feel timeless, comforting and a little bit nostalgic,  fragrances that capture simple moments: the first signs of spring, a summer garden, a rainy day, or the warmth of Christmas.

Each product is made using carefully chosen ingredients, including vegan-friendly waxes and high-quality fragrance or essential oils, with plastic-free packaging wherever possible. I care deeply about creating beautiful home fragrance that feels considered, giftable and special, without unnecessary fuss or waste.
